After completing his university studies in Geneva and obtaining a law degree in 2002, Yves Mabillard undertook an internship as a lawyer with the law firm Poncet Turrettini Amaudruz Neyroud & Associés between 2003 and 2005.
During his training, he practised mainly in the areas of civil liability, contracts and insurance law.
After obtaining his bar exam in June 2005, he worked for a legal protection insurance company until 2011. There, he acquired a solid knowledge of road traffic law, civil liability, labour law, tenancy law and insurance law.
In 2011, Yves Mabillard joined the law firm THCB as an associate, which became TAMISIER CHARBONNET & Associés on 1 October 2017.
He obtained the federal diploma of specialist in social insurance (Brevet federal de spécialiste en assurances sociales) in February 2021.
In parallel to his professional activity, he was an assessor military judge at the Tribunal militaire d’arrondissement 1 (District Military Court) from 2007 to 2010 and has been practicing at the Tribunal militaire d’appel 1 (Military Court of Appeal) since 2011.
He practices in French and English.
Yves Mabillard is a member of the Geneva Bar Association and the Swiss Association of Sports Managers (ASMS).
